Joel rushes to celebrate after scoring his second goal
Celebrations form a big part of the game of football and its potential has already been realized by EA Sports who have managed to add a new feature to their FIFA series of games where gamers are able to control the players after they have scored and using the keyboard they are able to manipulate what celebrations they perform. The options available to gamers are vast but it looks like they’ll have to add a new celebration their list.
The celebration in question was performed by Cameroonian striker Joel after he scored past Sao Paulo’s ‘keeper to put his team, Coritiba 3-1 up. After a neat finish, the 20 year old forward ran towards the advertisement boards behind the goal and leapt over them emphatically. What followed however was even more mind-blowing as the player seemed to simply vanish!

Granit Xhaka finds an iPhone on the football pitch while playing in the game against Villareal
Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka received the shock of a lifetime as he found a mobile phone on the football pitch during his team’s match against Villareal in the UEFA Europa League. The stunned Swiss midfielder looked baffled as he handed the iPhone over to the referee who looked equally surprised.
It was later found out that the gadget belonged to one of the coaching staff who dropped it on the pitch as he went on to treat one of the players.
