Last Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League match between Liverpool and Ludogorets Razgrad offered Reds fans the first opportunity to see their favourite team taking part in the world’s best club competition. However, the game was nothing more than an unintelligible mess for a small group of football lovers who couldn’t make heads or tails of what was going on.
Liverpool, decked in their traditional all red lined up against Ludogorets who were in all green. This was the worst possible combination for people who were red-green colourblind. And add to the fact that the players were playing on a green pitch, colourblind fans were left in a right old mess as they took to Twitter to voice their frustrations.
Here are a pick of some of the best tweets we came across.

Chelsea left back Filipe Luis recently asked in an interview who he thought was the funniest member of the squad. He replied by saying, “Diego Costa, for sure. He’s really funny, always joking with everybody. He wins the trophy!”
The Brazillian left back has known Costa for a long time now as he joined Atletico Madrid in 2010, the year Diego Costa also joined the club after a move from Real Valladolid. Similarly, the pair moved to Chelsea this year in two separate big money deals. Four years is enough to get to know someone and the videos below prove that Filipe Luis does in fact have a point.
