Ajax Amsterdam were knocked out of the Europa League on Thursday night after losing out to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk on away goals. The Dutch side won the second leg by two goals to one, but were knocked out on the away goals rule. It was a night to forget for Ajax as they were sent crashing out of Europe once again, and probably the most memorable event of the night was one specific corner that was taken by the home side.

Ajax’s Riechedly Bazoer finds himself a popular figure on the internet after taking probably one of the worst corner’s in the history of football. Not only did the ball fail to enter the field of play, but in a hilarious twist of fate, it actually managed to hit the fifth official who was standing just outside the touchline, on the head. Bazoer’s aiming is not as bad as it seems though as the player scored a goal for his team in the 60th minute.
