Argentine goalie Rodrigo Cervetti scored the most outrageous own goal of all time!
We’ve seen our fair share of hilarious own goals here on soccerviral.com, but I think that we’ve finally found the one that undisputedly bags the crown of worst own goal ever. Quite a few adjectives can be used to describe the own goal scored by Rodrigo Cervetti, but unimaginable has to be the most appropriate.
Cervetti was playing in a Prim B Metro game in Argentina for his team Comunicaciones against Atlanta. Comunicaciones lost the game by 5 goals to 0, but the most eye catching moment of the match came when Cervetti picked up the ball under no pressure and tried to throw it out.
