Everton attacking midfielder Ross Barkley was punched in a Liverpool bar on Sunday night in what is said to be an ‘unprovoked attack’, according to Barkley’s lawyer.
The video below shows the incident on TV, after the video was apparently leaked leaked by an employee from the bar in Liverpool. Barkley can be seen talking to another man before that man then takes a swing at Barkley and knocking him to the floor.
Barkley’s lawyer also added ‘Ross was the victim of an unprovoked attack by a stranger who approached him on Sunday evening.’ Everton have not commented on the matter. Barkley was not seriously hurt and trained normally with the team today.
