Referee Mark Clattenburg speaks Parseltongue on seeing Pepe’s ridiculous playacting during Champions League final

clattenburgThe 2016 Champions League final was an extremely topsy-turvy affair that had spectators on the edge of their seats. With the scores level at 1-1 at the end of normal time, the game went into extra time with both sides trying their best to deliver a knockout punch to the other.

A knockout punch never came, but we were treated to some brilliant pieces of football and a lot of not-so-brilliant pieces of play acting. Everybody was falling down at the slightest touch, and the person who did this the most was Real defender Pepe.

When Pepe and Atletico’s goalscorer on the night, Yannick Carrasco got into a minor tussle, both began to squirm around on the ground as if they were being tortured using a Cruciatus curse. Not too impressed with what he was seeing, English referee Mark Clattenburg looked at them in a bemused manner before doing something extremely weird.
