Rudy Gestede scores the winner for Aston Villa in the 72nd minute of their match against Bournemouth
Aston Villa won their opening game of the new Barclays Premier League season away at Bournemouth yesterday as new signing Rudy Gestede scored the only goal for Tim Sherwood’s side.
The Benin striker scored the winner in the 72nd minute of the match to send the Villa fans into raptures. Amongst the frenzy that broke out at Dean Court, one Aston Villa fan failed to control himself as he went crashing onto the pitch face first. Only he knows exactly how he managed to topple over the advertisement boards and I’m pretty sure he won’t have been laughing any more after he got back up on his feet.
