Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew started dancing as Jason Puncheon put his side into the lead with just 12 minutes left on the clock in thei FA Cup final tie against Manchester United
Have you ever found yourself so elated that you couldn’t resist busting a few moves? Well Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew found himself in the same place yesterday. The former West Ham and Newcastle manager broke out into a merry jig as Jason Puncheon’s 78th minute volley hit the back of net to give Palace a 1-0 lead with hardly ten minutes left on the clock.
Pardew’s joy, however, did not last too long as Juan Mata eventually equalized for Manchester United just three minutes later. Extra time was required to separate the two sides and ultimately, Jesse Lingard sealed the deal with a sensational strike in the 110th minute.
Therefore, Manchester United danced away with the FA Cup while Alan Pardew was left with nothing. The footballing community, however, were the true victors here as they saw a great game of football and an entertaining dance number from a top class manager.
