Chinese commentator Dong Lu fell asleep during Real’s win over PSG and had his snores heard on live TV
The Champions League is something of a dream for us football fans as it regularly pits some of the greatest clubs and the greatest players in the world against one another. This of course, usually produces some fantastic results.
Real Madrid’s 1-0 win over PSG was one such encounter and even though there was just the one goal in the match, it was an entertaining one nonetheless. One Chinese commentator though did not agree as he actually fell asleep during the game. What was worse though, was that the man’s snores were actually heard by viewers across the country!
Dong Lu, who was covering the game on behalf of LeTV, was the man who committed this crime. The TV company were quick to sack him from his post although you have to consider that he was watching the game at 4am in the morning due to the time difference between Spain and China.
