Diafra Sakho scored the only goal for the Hammers during their lost against Bremen
West Ham United succumbed to defeat in their final friendly before the new season began against German side Werder Bremen. Slaven Bilic’s side lost 1-2 to the Bundesliga side who played a better game than their counterparts.
Diafra Sakho scored the only goal for the Hammers before Anthony Ujah scored a double before the break to give Bremen the win. This was a game to forget for the small number of West Ham fans who turned out to watch the match, but it has to be said that their counterparts did all they could to provide some entertainment. The Werder Bremen fans were seen singing their version of Oasis’ popular song “Wonderwall”. This act amazed the home fans and will surely leave you surprised as well.
