Van Persie in midair!
The World Cup in Brazil was certainly a memorable one with Germany lifting the fabled trophy after a scintillating campaign but they were’nt the only teams to have played well. The Netherlands had a good run until they were knocked out by eventual runners up Argentina. Robin Van Persie’s wonderful headed effort against Spain may just be the goal of the tournament but it has been immortalized by a set of memes that took the cyber world by storm.
